Statutory rates change most often in April, and at other dates when new legislation commences. This is a one-person site, so figures are checked and updated by hand rather than automatically, and each one carries the date it was last checked. Recent examples include the abolition of Section 21 in England on 1 May 2026, Statutory Sick Pay becoming a day-one right in April 2026, and the ACAS Early Conciliation period doubling to twelve weeks on 1 December 2025.
Many disputes are settled long before a tribunal or a court hearing, and a clearly written letter is often the first step. Our letter guides cover grievances, disciplinary appeals, redundancy, flexible working requests, deposit disputes, repairs, benefit appeals and consumer complaints, and explain what each letter should say and how to send it.
People who cannot afford a solicitor, do not qualify for legal aid, and need a straight answer quickly. That includes anyone facing redundancy or dismissal, tenants dealing with eviction notices or disrepair, claimants challenging a benefit decision, self-employed workers chasing unpaid invoices, and carers navigating social care assessments.
You do not need a login to use the guides or the search, and no guide is behind a paywall. There is no premium tier. The PDF copies are optional, for people who want the guides offline.
